According to report, a robot at Tesla’s factory in Texas hurt an engineer by pinning him against the wall. The robot, which was intended to pick up and move recently cast aluminum automobile parts, pinned the Tesla engineer, as he was in the process of writing software for other surrounding robots. The engineer left a “trail of blood” on the manufacturing floor after suffering injuries to his arm and back.
As per report, This incident took place in 2021 but came to light through an injury record filed tte Information last month.
The incident raise worries about automation-related hazards and safety during work. Although many argue that robots are the way of the future, they also pose a risk to human safety and Sparks Safety Concerns.
What Actually Happened as per the witness : At Tesla’s Texas plant, witnesses told the publication that the software engineer was writing software to operate robots. The developers worked on two of the robots, which were used to cut aluminium auto parts, by securely disabling them.However, a third robot was unintentionally left in working order. Two witnesses to the attack claim that the robot pinned the engineer to a surface and sank its claws into his back and limbs.
The Tesla software engineer was severely injured in the robot attack. The software engineer was able to escape the machine’s hold only after another floor worker pressed the emergency stop button. One eyewitness claimed he left a trail of blood behind him as he fled the robot.

Tesla refused to comment on the story. While The Information claims that in 2022, nearly one in twenty-one employees at Tesla’s Giga Texas production suffered an injury at work, compared to the industry average of one in thirty.
