Cummins reaction after winning ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year
Speaking to ICC, Cummins said he was shocked to receive the prize and asserted that it ranks among his greatest professional accomplishments. It has been a great honor. We’ve had a busy year. Receiving this individual honor after so many amazing team accomplishments is enormous. Pretty amazed that is.
“This is, in my opinion, right up there. We play a team sport in which you compete for team victories and chase after trophies and tournaments as a team. But I think it’s incredibly significant and right up there as an individual honor,” Cummins remarked.
