Arsenal Vs Liverpool: Game Highlights

The hosts Arsenal took the lead through Bukayo Saka and missed several opportunities to increase their lead. As a result, just before the half, the Reds managed to sneak in an equalizer thanks to Gabriel turning into his own net after Luis Diaz took advantage of a mistake by William Saliba.

Virgil van Dijk and Alisson mishandled a long ball forward, giving Martinelli an open goal, but Arsenal, the Gunners, received their own gift in the second half.

Leandro Trossard scored a third goal at halftime after Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konate was sent for a second yellow card late in the game.

Arsenal position on Premier League Standings after the Game

Arsenal could therefore have fallen two points short of the leaders and been eight points behind them, completely out of the race. It’s also possible that Manchester City won. They will take the lead in the standings by one point if they win their final two games.
