Manchester United defeated Luton Town 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday thanks to an early double from Rasmus Hojlund, which also moved them closer to the top four.
After just 37 seconds, United’s in-form Danish striker Hojlund took advantage of a defensive blunder to take the lead, and seven minutes later, he doubled United’s lead to put his team ahead.
The 21-year-old is currently the youngest player in Premier League history to score in six straight games. Battlers for relegation After Hojlund’s early attack, Luton recovered, and in the 14th minute, Carlton Morris’s heroic header cut the deficit in half.
With both teams creating excellent chances, the only surprise in such a wide-open game was that there were none more goals.

Erik ten Hag, the Manchester United manager’s reaction on Game:
To relieve manager Erik ten Hag of some of the pressure and support United in their strong push to qualify for the Champions League, he is now repaying that transfer price.
“We recruited him on character and knew he was a strong character,” Ten Hag claimed. As a striker for United, you need to be able to perform under pressure, and he has that quality.
“You see it now, he has lot of confidence and I’m sure he will score a lot more.”
